Luggage Transfer

We are splitting our upcoming stay... 2 nights at AKL followed by 4 nights at SSR. Is there any type of service or shuttle to transfer our luggage from AKL to SSR?

Yes just call Bell services at AKL and they will take care of it for you.

When you check out, Put any food in grocery bags.

and get luggage together. Call the bell hop, and have him xfer the stuff over from one resort to the other. Get a receipt, and tell him of any items that need to be refrigerated, and / or frozen.

The stuff will magically appear around 4 p.m. at the new resort. Check-in, and ask at check-in to have it brought up to your room.

Now, that being said, expensive items shouldn't be left unattended, because anyone could go thru your bags.

So don't pack any jewelry unless you wear it, don't put money in your luggage, or leave expensive camcorder out, etc...

But it's easy and convenient.

Then you can either go to your new resort, check-in, but won't get room number until later (probably), or....

go to a park, and return later that evening.

I usually tip the bellman coming and going ($5 each, for a total of $10 for convenience).

Does anyone know if they will do this at the value resorts too? Do the All Stars even *have* bell services? LOL. We're just staying one night since our flight gets in close to midnight, not really for the resort experience, just don't want to pop for weekend points on a 2BR so all stars or pop is all we are going to do.

Yes, even the Values have Bell Services

Last non-DVC trip I split between Pop and POR, they kindly moved by luggage and delivered it to my new room at POR.
