Luggage Transfer: Cost or Not???

We are going to WDW in March, and were almost 100% decided on Wilderness Lodge, when we saw a snippet that suggested Disney will transfer your luggage to another resort if you decide to split your stay. Has anyone tried this? Did Disney charge anything for the luggage transfer?

In a word, No. (We did the transfer on December 21, 2003) Have a great trip!

We split our trips beween BWV and WLV quite often. It is very easy and convienent to have your luggage transferred. There is no cost howerver customary tip to the bellhops are appropriate.
