Luggage Transfer between DVC Resorts

Based on your recent experience, how long it took for bell services to transfer your luggage?

At RIV now, things were here around 4 pm from VGF. I only sent my owners locker and case of water

We decided we wanted the rest earlier so we took a Lyft with the refrigrated stuff and our luggage so we had what we needed for the pool as we got here around 1 pm after morning at MK,

Sorry to visit old post. Doing a split stay. Arriving BW around 11am, but doing parks next day and going to poly. Do bags only get transferred once per day? Should I do luggage services the day I arrive to make sure they are at poly early or won’t it matter? Just want to make sure luggage is there at 4. So if I do in morning will it be there at 4 or should I do night before?

Our experience has been to expect luggage to finally arrive at the destination resort sometime after 5 pm. That usually has worked, although we did move from BWV to AKL-Kadani and have to wait until after dinner for the luggage to find its way from bell services at Jambo House where it had been delivered to our room. It was not ready by 5 pm. I would be afraid that dropping off luggage the night before switching resorts would not gain anything because they may not move it until the next day anyway.

It just depends on staffing at resort that day. Getting transferd night before would not work. Normally done after morning rush , 1:00till 5:00.

If you need it , uber it yourself.

Baggage transfers are done once per day, in the afternoon. We've usually seen the luggage arrive at Bell at the new resort between 3PM and 6PM. You should not rely on this service if you really need your bags by 4:00. It's not going to be guaranteed that will happen. We did a bag transfer from AKL to BC last week, and the ticket the person gave me at AKL read 'expect 5PM delivery' - it was there by 4:30.

When we moved from WL to BLT our luggage arrived after 5pm - it was closer to 6pm. We were told we must have been the last stop on the van (but they are so close!). So I agree, bring what you need for the day, and only have them move stuff you absolutely won't need until after 6pm.
