Luggage Tags

I'm going to make some luggage tags for our suitcases but I'm not sure just what info to put on them. I seem to remember reading somewhere that I shouldn't put my full address on but can't find the thread now.

Any thoughts?

On your outward journey don't put your home address on your luggage tag - there are people who wonder around airports looking at luggage tags to find out your home address, and seeing as you are flying abroad they know your house will be empty!

Make sure you put you name and address actually inside the cases though in case they go missing on route.

Do not ever put your home address, instaed put your mobile number, or even your home number for contact.

Yep, don't put your full address on incase some of these creeps are wandering around.

I only ever put surname, flight number (or holiday booking reference) and contact number (mobile phone) or address of hotel if staying in a hotel. That's all you need really. The airlines should know who you are.
