Luggage Storage?

We are staying at AKL for 4 nights, then going on the DCL for 4 nights, then back to the BW for another 4 nights.

Can we leave a piece of luggage at the BW that we do not need for the cruise?

They will normally store it for you but it depends on how busy they are. Most of the storage areas have been made larger. I would ask when you arrive at the resort and make sure that you get the name of the person that you talk to.

I did your exact same itinerary as you, back in 2005! And the answer is yes, absolutely they will hold it for you. Our situation was a little easier, as our first resort was BWV and returning back there after the cruise. We simply took a duffle downstairs, told them exactly where we were going and returning there, they were more than happy to keep it for us. Just be SURE to keep your "claim ticket" somewhere safe to reclaim it 4 days later.
