Luggage storage

Does Disneyland still have a place to keep our luggage? We have an early flight into Long Beach (9:00 am) in October and cant check in to our hotel till 3:00 PM. Our hotel will not keep our luggage they say its a liability for them. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm kind of surprised by that. The hotels we've stayed at have a room specifically targeted for that. I don't think the lockers at DL are big enough for luggage unless you travel very compact.

What hotel is that? Just curious as the hotels we've stayed at all offer luggage storage. The only place at DL would be the lockers and they are not big enough for luggage.

I'd love to know what hotel, too! Both Carousel and HoJo have been fine (or would have been fine if we asked) to keep luggage.

The lockers at DL are on the smaller side, and probably wouldn't hold much luggage at all, even the big ones.

You might also be surprised at check-in... we checked into the DLH at 10 am on a Wed and were able to get into our room right then... 5 hours before check-in time! I did email in advance and let them know how early we were arriving, and asked if we could have the room by 1, for our dd to nap.

Its the Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites directly across the street from Disneyland. They said they have lockers to rent as well but there not very big. We have 8 adults flying in with lots of luggage, I dont think the lockers are going to work.

Wow! That is crazy!! We've stayed at the HoJo, the PP, the GCH, the Tropicana, the BWPPI, they all offered to keep our bags until our rooms were ready.

Well I just called them again and spoke to the manager and she said that there a plenty of BIG lockers to put our luggage in for $1.00 per locker. She also said that if for some strange reason none are available they will then hold our luggage at the front desk. So I guess I wont worry about it then. Thanks everyone!

It's very odd they don't hold onto luggage for their guests. Almost next door at the Carousel they were more than happy to do it for me, and if they had stayed put for a tip they could have made a little money off of it too!

That's one thing I dislike about Desert Inn and Suites. The other thing I dislike is that they won't let you leave your car there if you want to go to the park on your last checkout day. They actually told me that they will tow, and apparently a lot of the smaller motels in that area are the same way. Hojos is great. They hold your luggage before and after and they let you leave your car on the last day, so no worries over there.
