Luggage ? S/D to another resort

I will be staying at the S/D Aug 7-9 for a conference. We want to move to another resort on site for the rest of the week (haven't decided where yet). I was wondering if getting luggage trasferred to another hotel is a possibility or not?

even though not a disney owned hotel it is located on site and disney transportation to and from theme parks is provided (you can actually walk to Epcot and MGM if you wanted to). We love the resorts and always choose to stay there. Also switching resorts takes a lot of energy and time away from your vacation.

I don't believe they do the "luggage transfer" BUT here our your options:

1. taxi: very reasonable to anywhere on disney property, will take only a few minutes and get you there quick. No problem, right out in front.

2. I read some people with only a little luggage actually transfered themselves on the disney bus system. Its free. Example: Swan to PORS take swan bus to Magic kingdom > and get on PORS bus @ magic kingdom takes you to resort.

3. LIMO: Its expensive but if your not on a budget a nice way to travel. Can prearrange for pick up and the move.

We have had our luggage transferred from the Swan & Dophin. It works the same as the other Disney resorts. Just contact bell services and tell them you want to tranfer you luggage. It will arrive at your new resort sometime in the afternoon.
