My current luggage set has seen better days and witha few upcoming trips I'd like to invest in a better set. I'm at a loss of where to look. What are some good brands?

TJ Maxx, Ross and those types of stores sell discounted luggage. They sell pieces individually so we got all large pieces. A lot of places sell luggage in sets that include small to large pieces, some of which you many not even need. We recently got the brand that has the Swiss emblem on it. It has done well in several trips.

Briggs & Riley.

If you can make a case for the initial $ layout, it's well worth it.

You'll get top-quality pieces and a lifetime guarantee.

Another vote here. Lifetime warranty for ANY REASON. It gets damaged, they repair or replace it, no questions asked.

If your travel involves a lot of flying, lighter and smaller luggage is the way to go. Don't get any bags which will hold enough things to cause the bag to be overweight.
