Luggage Question

We arrive at WDW a week from Saturday (wheee!!!) and we plan to hit the ground running!

It sounds kinda weird but is it possible to check carry-on luggage at a different resort from the one we will be staying at?

What's happened is that I have been trying desperately to get a dining reservation at 'Ohana and was finally able to secure one the same day that we arrive. We will be staying at Pop Century but plan to get off the bus at Art of Animation (same Magical Express bus as Pop) and attend one of their animation classes. (Yup...hitting the ground running!)

Anyway, would it be possible for our to check our carry-on luggage at AoA, travel from there to the Polynesian for dinner and then go back to AoA to pick up our luggage before walking across Generation Gap bridge to Pop?

I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea but my DD and I really enjoyed the animation class we took at AoA last year and this is the easiest way to fit another one in this year without having to travel all the way back from a park for a 30 min class.

Yep you can have them hold it at the other resort. You will just have to return and pick it up.

Thanks so much @hedberg1661! I'm going against everything I normally recommend to someone else in booking a dining reservation not long after we arrive but unless something else comes up we'll keep it and start our vacation off on the run! Thanks again!

In my experience, DME bus routes vary and don't always stop at the same resorts or in any kind of order. It all can change at any time dependent on DME's needs for the day. If you're arriving at a time when Pop and AOA both have a fair number of arrivals, it's likely they'll share since they're next to each other, but do have a back up plan just in case.

Thanks @nkereina. Good thoughts. We will ask when we scan our bands if we can go on the AoA bus. If they say no it's off to Pop we go and will attend the drawing class a different day. Thanks for your help!
