I know at the Hyatt MCO the hotel will take your bags the night before sailing if you have booked Disney transport to the port

Does the same hold true if taking Disney transport from a Disney hotel the night before? Do they take your luggage the night so you don't have to lug it around ?

Thank you

If you're taking DCL transportation from a WDW resort to port, you leave your (checked) bags inside your room. They will be picked up the morning of the cruise (usually around 8:00). And are transported, via truck, to the ship. The next time you see them will be outside your room onboard later that afternoon.

Hyatt MCO is basically the same. You tell them when you check in there that you are taking DCL transfers, and they give a form to fill out, to be turned into the DCL transfer desk in the morning. The Hyatt will take your bags (in the morning of the cruise day) to the DCL truck, and the form you turn in at the DCL desk is their confirmation that you have bags that are coming from the Hyatt.

All transfers/baggage transport is the morning of the cruise, not the night before.

We're doing WDW resort-to-the-Port for the first time in April. Do we tell them at checkin that we're on the DCL bus on embarkation day, or does that info get to them without my reminding them?

They'll know. If it makes you more comfortable, you can mention it when you check in, wouldn't hurt.

They'll deliver a letter to your room the night before (if you're not in, it gets hung on your doorknob) about 7:30-8:00 pm. You can ask at reception and they'll tell you the same thing. They can't tell you when and where to meet or when they'll pick up luggage since they're not in charge of the scheduling but it's always been that way for all of our cruises including the ones leaving from Barcelona and Dover. I always stress about it until I see the letter and it's always been delivered right on time so I don't know why I continue to stress about it. They've always picked our luggage up at 8 am and when they say 8 am, they are usually there right on the dot. This upcoming cruise will be the first time we're leaving from the MCO Hyatt.
