Hi all! My group is staying in Orlando one night and then switching over to Saratoga Springs. The hotel in Orlando has a free shuttle to Disney. Someone in my group asked me if we could just use the shuttle to transport ourselves and our luggage (so take the shuttle to TTC and then hop on a bus to Saratoga Springs with our luggage). I assumed the answer to this questions was no because of space on the shuttles. But I thought I would ask just in case. Thank you!

It depends on the type of bus used by the shuttle operator. Most of the operators use over the road coaches (think Greyhound), which have under floor storage bays. However, others use cutaways, or vans, both of which might not have the storage space.

If you do this, your best bet would be to take one of the shuttles to Epcot or Studios. There are no buses to SSR from TTC.
