Luggage lockers or baggage check?

There are a few older threads about storing luggage at Universal on departure day and I'm looking for current info. Our trip is coming up fast! We will leave late on Saturday April 1 and are staying near Disney. No rental car; we'll be taking taxi/Lyft.

I'd like to finish with a half day at Universal if I can figure out what to do with our luggage. We'll want to store one backpack, two carry-on size roller and a full size roller (29 inches tall). Advice?

Still the same policy that the hotel will hold your belongings while you are in the park on check out day

Last month I checked out at 9 am and put my stuff with luggage valet holding area

Was given a claim check and the number of items listed in it that they stored for me

Returned at night, showed them the claim ticket and they brought it out in a cart for me

Easy peasy...

I'm hoping to store our luggage at the parks and go straight to the airport to maximize park time. Going all the way back to our hotel to pick up luggage is going to cost us an hour
