We have a group of 7 (3 are kids) and are thinking about booking a limo for our ride to the port for our March cruise. Not sure if all the luggage will fit in the trunk. Will they let you put luggage inside the limo or in the front with the driver? Only asking because on a recent three day cruise with four adults who over packed our limo driver said we could put luggage in the front seat if needed. Trying to figure out if we should just book a stretch hummer instead.

anyone ever used a stretch hummer? Where do they put the luggage in those?

which company are you booking with? if you are going with happy limo, they tell you on their website how many suitcases will fit in each vehicle. i bet if you check any rental website or shoot them an email, they can tell you exactly how many suitcases can fit in their vehicles.

We used limo with FLTours recently- let me tell you.. only 5 of us but LOTS of luggage! We had a total of 13 checked/carry on luggage, plus stroller, plus the kids all had backpacks and I had my purse. They were able to fit it all into the trunk except the backpacks (kids took them in the limo), my purse, and the stroller was put in the front passenger seat.
I don't know about all limo trunks but the one we had with FLTours sure does hold a lot! Huge trunk!

Limo trunks are the same size as a regular town car trunk. They stretch the middle of the vehicle. Most limo's have only a driver seat in the front and a space where the passenger front seat would be. That allows the limo, say for 10 people, to have 10 paying customers and a driver. It ensures the limo doesn't put one extra person in front, who might then make the limo over capacity. There are strict laws on weights and passenger counts in some states.
With that being said, we had six in a limo and it seemed like luggage for 12! We filled the trunk, filled the front and still had a piece or two in the back with us. The driver was so worried we would be uncomfortable, but it was fine. Wonder if the luggage took is over the weight limit!

FL Tours brought us a limo instead of the requested luxury van for our return trip. We were a party of 8 and here's how the luggage situation went. The trunk was jam-packed. We had to put a bunch more luggage in the front passenger seat with the driver. The only thing that didn't fit was our Graco Duo-Glider and we had to put that in the back with us. We were packed in pretty tight. If we had any more luggage, I don't know what they would have done.
