You have no reason to complain about this since I do my own laundry. Most college kids bring home dirty laundry for mom to do....but ohhh no I do it all by myself.

Wow... can we say stereotypes? Seriously, 18 year old girl here, and I have never taken more than one suitcase on any trip and been just fine! Depending on the length of trip, I would say one duffel bag or suitcase a person. You're looking at the Queen of Packing right here! I'll never forget my boyfriend's comment "Wow, you fit everything you need in a carry-on?" and then later on "You brought 4 pairs of shoes in there too?!?" I have amazing powers to utilize every inch of a bag....

Maybe you should look into a nice new Expedition??? If the girls are anything like my 27 y/o dd, you're in deep doodoo. She went away this winter and took 4 huge duffels!!! Good thing they didn't fly. So, if the girls do the whole...'well, I might need this, and I could need that. But, oh, I couldn't possibly leave that at home. But, oh, we may go someplace really dressy, so..' You get the picture. You poor thing.

How many suitcases they take isn't really the issue. The issue is that they'll probably overtake most of your suitcase, regardless of how many they're taking for themselves. DH hasn't gotten to use more than half of his suitcase since our honeymoon almost 5 years ago.
