Luggage from MCO to port

Can anyone explain to me how it works if you have luggage at the airport that you are taking on the bus with you? do you just have it loaded at the same time you board the bus, when you get to the port do you have to unload it and take it a porter or does it get picked up for you at the bus?
never done this before, always used their tags and had them pick it up so just curious what it would entail.

Luggage goes separately by truck, they do not load luggage on the DCL Buses...

Pretty sure they take it at the DCL sign in desk.

Last time I cruised out of Port Canaveral and used DCL transfer at MCO in 2011, I checked in then dropped off my baggage in a special area outside the terminal next to the DCL boarding zone. They will give you directions when you check in. The process is pretty simple. Have fun planning!
