Luggage check in at Port

I understand that Delta is now accepting luggage at the port. Is this correct? My questions: We'll be traveling Delta Partner ComAir in the fall. OUr flight is around 11 am (originally was later, but they keep moving it earlier). Will I be able to check in our luggage given the short time it will have to get to the airport? Will I be able to check in since it is a "flight partner"? We use all the delta stuff for booking, checking in, etc. Thanks for the help.

I would say yes....you should be able to check in with Delta. Just call DCL or Delta to make sure.

I wouldn't take that chance. I think that's asking a lot of the airline to think they could operate that efficiently. I'd take my luggage directly to the airport in order to get it on an 11am flight.
