:earsboy: DS – Jack – 2yo lover of Minnie, Goofy and Piglet – FIRST VISIT

What: Our first family visit to Disney. 8 days/7 nights w/ Park Hopper tix and DDP

Where: ASMu Family Suite

When: Jan 28 – Feb 4

Why: Well, that is just obvious.

I love to document every thing. And I love message boards. So here I am

So yesterday I fought the crowds and made my ADRs. Finally got through and didn’t have the system crash around 8pm. I had to swap one day but got everything I wanted.

1/29 - 7:45am - Chef Mickey’s character breakfast
1/29 - 5:40pm - Coral Reef
1/31 - 5:25pm - Ohana
2/1 - 5:35pm - Boma
2/2 - 5:45pm - Mama Melrose
2/3 - 8:20am - Liberty Tree Tavern character breakfast

Still have one more TS credit to plan. We may just leave our last night open and walk in wherever we end up. We are used to eating early, so if we walk in at 4:45 we should be able to get a table somewhere
.

I should mention this trip is still a secret from the kids. They will find out Christmas morning. That is another thing I need to plan – what to put in the big box they open Christmas morning. :santa:

DH and I have been debating adding on 2 days at the end of our trip at AKL – Savannah view. We have been talking about it from the beginning and now with the 40% off for Disney Visa I don’t know why we aren’t doing it. But DH is hesitant. He thinks after 8 days we will all be ready to come home. (I know that is contradictory all things Dis.) But honestly, he may have a point. I am the type that goes, goes, goes on vacation until I am cranky and then I need a vacation from vacation. And the kids don’t sleep great away from home.
If we do it AKL will be in place of a birthday party for DD. But since they don’t know about the trip I need to ask her vague questions like ‘would you like a big birthday party or an extra special trip with Mommy and Daddy?’ Needless to say I am getting vague answers. She is 3 after all. Anyway she LOVES giraffes (even more then anything Disney :confused3). The idea of her waking up in the morning and rolling out of bed to find a giraffe out her window = priceless.

Hi! We're going the exact same dates as you are! Can't wait to hear about your planning!

Itinerary – first draft :lmao:

Thursday 1/28
Noon-ish – arrive at MCO

- naps
- back to EPCOT (world showcase)
- 5:40 - Coral Reef
- 8pm Illuminations (this is the earliest it is all week, the kids are usually in bed by then)
