"Lucky" the dinosaur

I saw a really cool picture by another "Dis"er and I was wondering if anyone had more info on a dinosaur at Animal Kingdom, her name is Lucky and she comes out for a walk twice/three times a day. At least she did in 05 from what I have heard.

My question is does anyone know if this still happens and if so, where might be the best place to spot her... My daughter is a dinosaur lover and that would make her world!! Thanks you guys!

Sadly, Lucky was only at AK for a few short months. I can't recall where she went, but there's been no mention of Lucky returning. We consider ourselves "lucky" indeed to have had the pleasure of seeing her several times.

Lucky no longer comes out. She was only there for one summer before going to another park overseas.

Lucky left WDW to perform in other Disney parks long ago.

But (at least right now) a much more advanced "strolling" AudioAnimtronic is appearing at WDW (Epcot, for the moment.)

Muppets Prof. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker are entertaining guests with their advanced knowledge of all things scientific, as they walk together around Epcot with their Muppet Mobile Lab.

Lucky was the first generation of this type of animatronic.
Honeydew and Beaker are much newer and more interactive.

Rats! I was afraid of that! My daughter loves the dinos and was hoping she'd see it... oh well... not like there isn't a MILLION other things for her to feel the magic about!
