Renting Points Individually

I have multiple contracts and typically rent through both of the main options (David’s and DVC Rental Store). I am entertaining renting directly to individuals. My question is this - does it workout better to offer points that an individual can then pick when they want to travel or reserve hi demand times? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

It’s a personal choice. Be prepared for comments that renting high demand times and rooms shouldn’t be allowed.

I think it depends on how often you rent your points.

For me, I don’t hardly at all, but if I did, I’d rent a reservation vs offering to make an on demand.

Remember, since you have not been registered on the DISBoard system for 6 Months, you are required to purchase the $59.95 Gold Plan. This plan allows up to approved 6 Rental Threads, during a year. BUT...it will not allow you to rent a pre-existing reservation more than30 days prior to the check-in date. You are not eligible to purchase the Platinum or Premium plans, which would allow for posting existing reservations more than 30 days out until you have been in our system for 6 months.
