Lucky Nugget

Can anyone tell me if there are still can-can dancers at the lucky nugget? as my mum would love to see them and we will book for our trip in June. And is there any good seating requests (like in Walts). Thanks for help Dumbo Deb

No there is no can can dancers that i am aware of. The Lucky Nugget is used for character meals.

There was a lovely brass band playing when I was there.. created a lovely atmosphere.

We loved the brass band too.

We prefer sitting in a row along one of the horse-shoe shaped terraces (not sure how else to describe them ) as we found when we sat at a table on the main floor we felt rather squeezed in. The negatives to it are that it's harder to all join in a conversation if there are quite a few of you plus you have to walk further to collect your food!

Do the characters come up on the terraces too, or do they just stay down on the main floor?

The can can dancers were in the Lillie's Follies show I think, which ended in the mid '90s.

We enjoyed sitting up in the "terraces" too.

This venue was by far our favorite - great choice of food, lovely atmosphere and lost of character interaction.

We arrived at 12 noon and were lucky enough to get the end three 'first level terrace' seats by the door the characters came out of (left looking at stage). As it was Christmas they had a brass band playing seasonal melodies which was very nice.

A must do IMHO, even if you dont have children
