Hi

Could anyone please tell me if either The Lucky Nugget or the Silver Spur Steakhouse are open on Sunday evenings in low season (I’m interested in Sunday 11 March). I can’t find any official opening times on the DLRP website and other websites are giving conflicting information. Thanks. :)

Hi!
I've been trying to find out this info too :confused3 but no luck so far.
We are also arriving on Sun 11th and would like to do a character meal that evening and as its the only evening during our stay that disney park is open past 6pm Lucky Nugget seemed the perfect choice.
Anyone have any idea?

Last March the Lucky Nugget was open until 3.30pm for it's character buffet, I assume that time is probably the latest arrival time, we ate earlier so had left by then.
Off peak season can make restaurant planning a little difficult, be aware that not all the restaurants will be open everyday, and in our experience there's not a lot of warning, usually a sign outside the restaurant, which is the reason we've never eaten at the Silver Spur Steakhouse, it was closed on the day we planned to eat there.
If you wanted to make prior reservations then they would know if the restaurant was open on your chosen day, you can always cancel if you change your mind.:)

On 11th of march, the Disneyland Park will be open from 9am to 9pm.
But I don't know if you can book for the evening at the Lucky Nugget.
I'll try to get this information ... as I work there, it will be probably be easy :)

Sorry, but my colleague who works in food said me that there's no service for the evening when the park closes at 9pm. :confused3

Thankyou for confirming this for us :)

Its a shame though :sad2: we'll have to go somewhere else for our first night and hope to fit Lucky Nugget in another day.

On the Disney Village, you can have a diner with the characters et Café Mickey.
If you research a "all you can eat", but without characters you can go to Billy Bob's Saloon (at 3rd floor), it's very good (25€/pers) or at Chuckwagon (Cheyenne Hotel) (20€/pers, 22€/pers with a soft drink), very good too.
At the Disneyland Hotel, there's Invention, a "all you can eat", I think (I'm not sure), that you can see the characters.

Thanks so much for all the information and advice :thumbsup2
I've managed to book dinner in the Silver Spur for the evening of the 11th, as it's the only night during our stay when the park will be open late. I'll check out your other recommendations for the other nights.
Thanks again.

Great news. What time have you went for? :goodvibes

Reid, we've booked it for 6pm. Our flight gets in at 13.45 so we're hoping to have a few hours in the park before and after dinner. Am looking forward to being there in the dark (yes, I'm a bit sad, I know!). Having it booked means that I don't have to worry about finding somewhere open - we were there last March and found we spent quite a bit of time wandering around looking for open restaurants! Can't wait now

Thanks Elaine. I’m really looking forward to BTM in the dark alright. This year our DD (nearly 5) will be tall enough to go on it – having her beside me will provide a great excuse for screaming :rotfl2:
