For those that have been to both is there much difference between them apart from price of course or is the food totally different?

Mate and I can't make our minds up, of course we may end up doing both if they are both vastly different but just wanted to get your opinions as to whether it is worth paying an extra € 20 at Inventions really!

Sorry I have only been to Lucky Nugget so cant compare - although both character meals they are totally different experiences and with younger children I haven't been able to justify the extra ££ for Inventions:confused3 as they are plain eaters.

Disneyland hotel is beautiful and I would take the chance to do both if you can :)

Not much help am I ;)

Sorry can't help either as the only time I booked Inventions, kids were ill, so we cancelled, we've been to the Lucky Nugget twice though and thoroughly enjoyed it both times.:)

I love both ~ been to The Lucky Nugget three times, it's great fun, lovely food and excellent value. Been to Inventions twice, the food is superior, the atmosphere more serene and elegant and because we go early evening (6-6.30pm) it's not so busy so the characters can spend more time with you.

If you are a foodie then go for Inventions, if you're not fussed and are really after the character interaction I would save your € and choose The Lucky Nugget.

Hope this helps. :)

We've been to both and I would go for Inventions...I loved the special food, my husband and kids would go for the Lucky Nugget...they loved the sort of tex-mex food. Character interactions were great both times.

Here's another vote for inventions. Its our number one fave, even above California Grill. We find the food to be excellent, and character interaction great. We've eaten here 4 times including Christmas Eve. We'll be going again for my 40th birthday in June.

We've only been to Lucky Nugget once for Christmas Day lunch. The food was good but fairly standard tex mex fare - desserts were great. Thought it was more hectic than Inventions and we were sat at a breakfast bar type thing so felt less like a relaxing meal out. We didn't find the character interaction to be as good, but it was Christmas day and staff seemed a little stressed so maybe it wasn't representative.

Hmm

Sounds like we do The Lucky Nugget at lunchtime and do Inventions in the evening!!
