Luck changing resorts at 7m after Thanksgiving

I'm thinking about our Nov '11 trip. I will book a 2bd at SSR or a THV if we get lucky at the 11m window. We may try to stay in a 1bd at BLT or if we get really lucky a 2b value at AKV. We would also consider a 1bd SV at Kidani.
We will likely start our trip on the Sun after thanksgiving. What are the chances of changing resorts? I know that Dec is a tough time, but thought I'd try.

It's certainly possible, but most likely you'll have to waitlist.

We were lucky enough to have our BLT waitlist (made at 7 months for a 1 bedroom standard view) come through for that week last year. Try for a Lake View (most BLT villas are in this category) and hope for pixie dust.

First I think you will get a 2 bedroom at SSR with no problems at the 11th month window. I also think you have a good chance of getting another resort at the 7 month..... since it is after Thanksgiving. If it were me ..I would try for VWL. I think that place is gorgeous when the Christmas decorations are up. However I would be happy at any DVC resort during that time. GOOD LUCK.
