Luau vs Hoop De Doo
Which would you do with 3 kids 8, 6, 3? We are staying at the Poly so either place is easy to get to. We did the Luau when my 8yo was a baby but havn't done it since.
So which would you chose and why???

it depends on your kids, but I would think the hoop de doo would be a bit more interactive for them. They can make noise, twirl their napkins, and clap along. I do enjoy the luau but I think it requires a bit more patience to sit during some parts.

the other great thing about hoop dee doo is you can get there a bit eraly and let them run around at Ft Wilderness. There is alot of open grass space for running off steam. The last time we were there (it was about 10 yrs) they had some animals like cows, goats, penned up close that you could go look at.

I agree. While the Luau had a lot of kids in attendance, many seemed restless and bored.

Why not do Mickey's Backyard BBQ?? I know some of the characters are there. I initially had Hoop Dee Doo reserved, but it didn't seem "Disney" enough for me!!

With an 8, 6, and 3 year old - Mickey's is a buffet (carry plates) and Hoop De Do is family style (serving dishes on the table). That always makes my decision. I don't want to carry all those plates.
