Luau-Has anyone been lately and tell me about the tier system there

It has been may years since we went to the Luau. How is the food now? Have they changed the show in the last few years? They say you can cancel up to 48 hrs in advance. Can you get your money back even if you picked up your tickets the day you arrive or would you have to wait to pick them up in case you change your mind within 48 hrs of the show. The reason I ask is the last time we did go to the Luau, it was blowing and raining and they didn't cancel it. We were chilled and it was very damp. We will have our laptop with us so I figure we can check the extended forcast a few days before the Luau.

1) You can cancel with tickets in-hand or not.
2) as long as you do it within the cancellation period.

We went on 9/28 to the Luau and were pleasantly surprised. Our server and the food were good. The show was okay, the fire dancer being the best part. Lots of food. We were lucky enough to have great weather and saw the Halloween party fireworks over the Luau stage. It was a nice evening.
