Luau at the Polynesian - what do you think?

My kids decided they now want to go to the Luau! So i see on the dining plan you can only sit tier 2 or 3 - how is that seating? Will we see everything and have a good time? We'll probably be going on our arrival day and hitting the early dinner at 5:15p!

Are you flying in? Don't book this on your arrival day if you are. Even if you are on the dining plan they will charge you a no-show fee if you don't make it there, and you should take possible flight delays into consideration.

The seating isn't really the main issue, it's the fact that the food, imo, is awful (I posted that on your other thread). The show is good after dinner. During dinner, it is cheesy.

I really liked Ohana, and had an ADR right before the Wishes fireworks and the water parade. Much better, IMO.

But if you're really excited about the Spirit of Aloha, give it a try. And request the white chocolate mousse for dessert.

We really liked the food! We did use the dining plan for this so it did take two meals, but I thought it was worth it. The seats were fine, the show was entertaining and like I said before, we thought the food was good.

It is not something I would do everytime I go. We went, were glad we went, but would not do it again for a few years.

We have sat in a couple cats. We really like cat 2. The show is corny at times. But we have always enjoyed the food and service. JMO.
