I am traveling to universal next week, how is the luau at royal pacific?

I took my family last year when we were staying at Portofino's. The show was very good (dancers, fireeater, audience invlovement). The food was excellent. Coconut rice was out of this world. If you have kids, they also had a kid's buffet. You are seated at large tables with other people. It lasted about 3 hours.

Chop? If so, Would you rather go there or the Luau? Thanks again.

I have not been to the Luau, but I can tell you Tchoup
Chop is excellent! We have eaten there twice now, and the last time (May) the food was even better than the first time (January). All four of us loved our meals, from the appetizers through the desserts. The service team we got was just incredible, so I left a nice tip ($50). A couple of weeks later, I received a postcard from the team leader thanking us for stopping by and asking us to request his team next time we came in!
