For our first MK day, we have an ADR at LTT for dinner. Im debating now whether we should cancel it and try to get Chef Mickey's or Grand Floridian Cafe. It doesnt have to be a character meal as were also eating at Crystal Palace. Any ideas? TIA. :confused3

We had a good meal at Liberty Tree. It had a nice atmosphere and the service was good. Nothing spectacular, but good.

Why do you want to cancel? Is it because of the menu choices, characters or what? If it's the menu then try Chef Mickey's. It's a buffet and you can eat as much as you want. I personally liked LTT. I felt like I was in the middle of the first Thanksgiving being served my peasant women. Everyone was so kind and the food was delightful. I know it sounds corny, but I liked it.

Thanks for the good replies. I was debating switching restaurants only because I had heard that the food was not so good. I think we'll stick to LTT and give it a try, though.

I've been a couple times and we are not going back. We did have a fun time though. We like plain food but this food is not that great. I would say go with Chef Mickey's. We LOVE this place. We are trying GF this trip. I believe its 1900 Park Fare. Good luck.

LTT is our Thanksgiving tradition. We love it. Having said that, Chef Mickey's has become a traditional meal for every trip for us. It is our favorite.

We're doing LTT the evening of MVMCP. My DH likes that kinda of food. I'm hoping he'll like LTT's food! (We've never been there.) I thought it would help put him in the Christmas mood for the party.

I love LTT! The colonial atmosphere is great, and I love seeing the characters dressed up in their period costumes. We've gotten more character interraction at LTT than at any other character meal. Sometimes they come around 2 or 3 times each, if it's not too crowded. Love the rolls with honeybutter and love the strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing.

I highly recommend it!

The colonial garb is what turned me off (and we're doing Chef Mickey, so it's the same characters basically).

Wow. I thought everyone liked LTT! :confused3
LTT is sponsored by Stauffers. To me that is what the mac and cheese tastes like. But that doesn't make it bad. I can't imagine getting a bad meal at LTT. It generally remains the same and is good comfort food. LOVE mash taters and gravy! :woohoo:
I say keep the ADR for LTT. I really don't think you wil be disappointed.

LTT- we just got back and had a greaat experience! The kids ate up the mac and cheese! We enjoyed all the food. The atmosphere was good and the characters were great! We had a real sweet time! Goofy and Pluto really were a sight together!
Minnie Mouse was so adorable!
My kids loved it-
We did GF too this time, and CHef Mickeys a couple of years back- I enjoyed LTT's food-"comfort food" best! The GF buffet is fine but really we are there for Cinderella and Prince :)
Chef Mickey's buffet was not my fave either.
I would def. do LTT

YAY to LTT.

We ate there for the 1st time on Mother's Day 2 weeks ago & really enjoyed it....we loved the food & the character interaction was great.

We also eat at Chef Mickey's twice each trip though...love that place too!

We thought the food was quite good. Just good ol' fashioned comfort food. The rolls with honey butter were delicious, the salad was yummy, the meat was moist and plentiful, and the character interaction was some of the best we had anywhere.

We had a yucky meal there. The food was bland and luckwarm at best. Slow service, couldnt get a drink refill to choke down the ham. We left before desset and had been there and hour and a half. I would try else where!

LOLOLOLOL!

I did'nt book LLT because I dont have kids and heard the food tasted like a TV dinner. If i had kids i would do it just for the experiance.

We all enjoyed LTT. The food was your Thanksgiving dinner with ham and roast beef. Our service was excellent. They were very quick to refill our drinks and they even brought us cheese when we asked if they had it. The character interaction was great also. We were visited multiple times by all the characters and they played around with our party of 8 adults and one infant as much as they did with the parties dining with children around us.

For what it's worth, we did breakfast at Chef Mickey's and found the food good and the character interaction good as well, although Mickey, being the busy mouse and chef that he is, was only able to visit once. We also did dinner at 1900 Park Fare. The mice visited frequently, but Cinderella and Prince Charming could only come by once. I understand that some characters are so popular that they can only visit each table once, but at a place like LTT, all the characters, including Minnie, came by to visit multiple times. If you're just looking to interact with characters, especially if you like some of Walt's originals, you can't go wrong with LTT.

Ok...I know I'm slacking but I've got the LTT review coming up tonight with pics along with Fultons.
