LTT vs The Plaza

Hi all,
Trying to cut back on some of our more expensive (ie character meals, buffets, ayce, etc) dining reservations since we are paying OOP for food this trip, when we are accustomed to the DDP. I heard a couple people mention The Plaza and LTT and the prices a la carte don't seem bad compared to the buffets. Any votes for or against either?

We have been to The Plaza a couple times and have always enjoyed it. In January we went with 7 people and everyone was able to find something that they were excited about, and we all enjoyed our food. I also find the portions large enough for DH and I to share and we both leave full. The milkshakes are very good and the homemade potato chips were delicious.

Edited to add: we ate at LTT once and it was ok but not somewhere we would go back to unless at the request of a traveling companion.

Both are great. LTT is my fave for lunch. Love the pot roast and ooey gooey toffee cake for dessert. Although its a bit heavy for lunch, its so delish! I'd choose based on which menu appeals to you most. Cant go wrong with either.

the plaza recently went mostly walkup. I think there is a 1 hour period when you can book ADRs but they go quick. People generally report similar waits to restaurants with ADRs as a walkup at the plaza.

Apparently they only take ADRs at the Pkaza between 11AM and Noon ... after that it's walk ups only. We got an 11:20 adr for early August, it will be our first time eating there.

The Plaza is one of our favs and we were somewhat disappointed that they stopped doing ADRs as well. LTT lunch is usually pretty good but to be honest that's only because I'm a Colony Salad gal-the one they had with the salmon was just ok, so very glad they brought back the one with the chicken.

The Plaza is nice because it's pretty simple so there's something for everyone and in the middle of summer we are always happy to get dessert there. Ice cream is one of our MUST-DOs in the summer. I know LTT has the Ooey Gooey Toffee cake but we aren't toffee fans so that doesn't really do it for us. Being able to have several choices of ice cream flavors is the hit for us especially when it's 90 outside and we don't have to stand in that ice cream line. I personally think the Plaza is worth a little bit of a wait

The food is good at both,but given choice for lunch, LTT would get my nod

I would choose the Plaza. We really enjoyed our lunch there.

I have a 2:10 pm reservation for The Plaza. Surprised to book that time....
