LTT Questions...

we have a ps for dinner at LTT and are really looking forward to it, based on some good reviews i've read here, plus a lunch we loved a few years ago... dh loves the atmosphere...

anyway, i looked at the menu here on the dis and the menu at allearsnet.com and am quite confused... the menu here on the dis indicates that there are other choices besides the "goofy's liberate your appetite" meal (served family style, turkey, beef, pork, potatoes, mac/cheese, etc) as well as appetizers (the one that caught my eye was the fried mozz, ds' absolute FAVE food)... so, which menu is correct? is there more than just the family style platter? if so, can you "mix and match?"

also, since we'll be on the dining plan can we order the goofy's dinner and get an appetizer from the main menu included, if there is in fact an add'l menu, because TS meals include appetizers?

who'd a thunk this would be confusing?!

The dinner is served family style and you get flank steak, turkey and ham. Plus potatoes, macaroni and cheese, etc. I don't think there are any appetizers with the family style meal. Dinner is a flat price per person (it's a character meal).

The lunch is served from a menu. That's probably what you saw. We eat there for lunch all the time. Ate there twice in June and will be back in August for lunch. The Fryed Cheese is on the lunch menu. I don't think you can order from the lunch menu at dinner time.

That is the lunch menu at the top. Where it starts about Goofy's dinner, that's the dinner menu. Dinner is a flat price per person. Lunch you order from the menu.

I just checked out the link and it is totally messed up. They have lunch mixed in with the dinner.

but the link shows a lunch menu as well... anyway, it's just a glitch... the only character meal there is the "goofy's liberate......" meal, yes? and thanks!

and they served a salad as an appetizer, followed by the main course, which was a platter with turkey, ham and flank steak, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and mac 'n cheese. You could get seconds on whatever you wanted. You then got dessert (sorry, can't remember what we had there). This is a fixed price for dinner and we did it for 1 TS credit for each adult off the dining plan (we paid cash for older ds to save for another meal).

We enjoyed the food and the character interaction was very nice...not too rushed. Our server wasn't the best I've had (didn't check for drink refills and we had to flag him down for some seconds), but I've had worse.

My kids enjoyed the food and my little guy (not yet 3) really enjoyed the turkey. Any time he eats for than 2 mouthfuls, I consider the meal a success!
