We will be at Disney for our ds 4th birthday. We are going to PPP that night so we are planning on dinner at MK. We are doing Epcot that morning with an early lunch at Garden Grove. We are taking a break at our room and then dinner and the PPP. I have an ADR for LTT but am wondering if Crystal Palace is better. We also have a 6 yo. Neither of them know alot of the characters and frankly my son is kind of scared of them.

Thanks for your advice. Tonya

Both places are a lot of fun.

I would base the decision on what kind of food you want to eat that night.

LTT has a "Thanksgiving type" meal....YUMMY!!

CP has a buffet with a ton of options....prime rib, chicken nuggets for the kids, you name it! They also have a soft-ice cream machine that my kids love!

Both restaurants offer character fun, so I suggest taking a look at the menus for both, since they offer very different foods for dinner.

I personally like LTT better than CP for a character dinner. I hope you have a great meal!:)

I have never been to LTT, but we tried CP for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it. The selection is amazing, and everything was quite good. I loved the salmon. They had nice salad selections too, which for me is a big plus.

I would go with CP. LTT has a boring menu and it tastes like reheated cafeteria food. CP has a lot of choices so everyone can find something they like.

I love both resturants. But if I had to choose just 1 of them I would probably go with the Crystal Palace. The buffet there is wonderful especially the salmon and prime rib.

We are going to Crystal Palace the night we attend PPP. We will be there Jan. 26th!!! I had reservations for LTT, but DS5 said today he wanted to eat with Piglet. First time he ever mentioned Piglet, so I thought I better change. We have been to CP and love it, but I wanted to try something new-LTT. DS won- Crystal Palace it will be.

We ate at both on our last trip. And while we thought both were great, I've gotta go with the majority here and vote for CP! It will be our only repeat from our last trip when we go in February!:thumbsup2

Ate at both last trip as well, and I would vote CP.

LTT was just your average turkey dinner with frozen mac & cheese. Family style on a small wood table, we barely had room for our drinks. The tables were so tight and we were hearing everyone's conversation. Plus as the characters came through they were always bumping our table and chairs. They were too hurried. Our server was great, but very busy.

Decor....I think the Columbia Harbor House is just as nice, much more spacious and cheaper. I'll go there for my colonial times fix and save my character dining for a lighter atmosphere with better food. We had a wonderful time at CP, and enjoyed watching all the younger children have so much fun.

I ate at both for dinner this past summer..LTT is one of DH and I's fav. TS!! We like the Thanksgiving style dinner and also the atmosphere. CP was ok...the food was a little too fancy or unknown to me. LTT is also much cozier. Like the PP's said..check the menus. The foods are quite different between the two. have fun!! :goodvibes
