LTT or 50's PT for Pot Roast

I picked both last trip :goodvibes

Seriously, both are good, so it comes down to where you are when the roast urge hits!

My husband has had both and I asked him if if one was better than the other. He told me that they were pretty much the same. :)

Love the 50's pot roast. I don't think I've ever even tried anything else there after having it the first time!!!
LTT?? I have found the food there to be somewhat mediocre, but that was the character dinner. I know that people say the lunch is much better. But I just found the meats at the family style dinner to be dry.

That is only at dinner. Lunch has a different menu that isn't family style.

Very interesting! I've had the pot roast at both and I liked LT better. Something was different (or missing?) from the entree at 50's. Maybe it was just my bad luck that particular day, but I remember thinking gee I like LT better.

As a side note and off topic, I agree that the dinner family-style menu has rather dry meats at LT. The lunch menu is SO much better, in our opinion.

I couldn't agree more with the thought that lunch at LTT is SO much better! I prefer the lunch LTT pot roast to the 50's Prime Time one. There is something in that tender (and HUGE) portion of pot roast with the nice natural gravy and the potatoes...I am drooling just thinking about it. It is a FABULOUS lunch option, but the portions are HUGE, so I suggest a late lunch for Liberty Tree Tavern. :)

It was probably the onion straws ... the pot roast we had at LTT was covered with fried onion straws, which made it taste all that better! Yum!
