We adore Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch because of the menu. I also LOVE their chracter line up in the evenings. Minnie is perfection in her colonial gear and Chip and Dale are side splitting.
I much prefer a character dinner to a breakfast. The breakfast hours are when the parks are empty and the lines are short. I like having a character dinner when the parks are full, the fastpasses are all distributed, and the lines are long. I enjoy sitting down, being served, eating a good meal, and interacting with characters.
I have found that LTT offers balanced character interaction. I have noticed some of the breakfasts have characters spending all their time with small children and really skimming over tables with older kids, teens or adults. My teens, hubby, fosters, and I all paid full price, and I appreciate getting character time, since I paid for that service. I don't know why they do a better job at character time fairness, but we have noticed it on many visits.
We always eat at least one lunch there, usually two. We always eat a dinner when the weather is cool, but we just don't get as excited about "Thanksgiving Dinner" when it is 95 degrees outside. I wish they had a few lighter options for dinner, but we still usually book a dinner and they are always PACKED to the rafters, even in the middle of summer.
