I've read here that lunch at the LTT is good, so I went ahead and booked it for my upcoming trip. What are some things you'd recommend? I'm especially wondering about the salmon and pumpkin bread (I think that's what I saw on the menu). Anything to avoid?

the Sandwich Heard Round the World is to DIE for!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Lunch is AWESOME at LTT! It was probably our favorite meal last fall. My favorites were the fried cheese appetizer and the buttered pound cake for dessert. YUMMMMMMMMM! I had a pasta entree which was good, and my husband had the pot roast which was very delicious. My mom had the great sandwich the OP mentioned. Mom and DH had the chocolate lava cake and the strawberry shortbread. We had quite a sampling b/c of the DDP and it was all great! You will not be disappointed! These were our favorite desserts of the entire vacation! :goodvibes

We go to LTT for our last meal of the trip on every trip. I always get the pot roast and have never been disappointed. My husband will get the Pilgrims Feast (turkey dinner) or another selection. Our son always gets the fried cheese for his meal. And they have some pretty good desserts. The berry shortcake is good as is the pound cake. You need to ask for dinner rolls as they will not serve them unless you request them. This last trip the dinner rolls were different and not the more handmade type with the honey butter.

The above is my exact meal! (Splitting the pasta with DH because it's pretty big.) And it has become one of our regular lunch places each trip because we like it so much.

I've only done dinner, but havne't been dissapointed, you all have my mouth watering and will have to go for lunch my next trip this fall!pirate:
