LTT dinner 2009: Characters?

I thought LTT was doing away with the character dinners, but I read on the WDW site that they mention LTT under character meals for their new 2009 celebration promotion ideas.

I'm confused Did I hear wrong about WDW doing away with their character meals?

If you follow the links through to the actual LTT page, it says:

Effective January 5, 2009, the Liberty Tree Tavern will no longer be a character dining experience.

You're right though - they do list LTT on the page about the birthday celebrations for 2009 and call it character dining -- but once you click the restaurant link, it says what I quoted above.
