DH and I will be at MK with no kids this summer. We are thinking about having breakfast at CP - love Pooh, who doesn't? How's the character interaction and food? Is it worth it? Secondly, we are thinking about dinner at LTT. How's the characters and food here? Is it worth it? Will 2 adults without kids feel uncomfortable at a character meal? We tried for CRT but unfortunately no availability at B, L, or D during our stay.

Thanks for your help!

I have heard good things about CP but haven't been there myself yet. Haven't heard much of anything about LTT so sorry can't help you on that one! I think you will have a good time as a couple at the character meals without children. Have a great trip!

Hi,

We just got back and did LTT on Friday. The characters were Chip and Dale, Minnie and Goofy. We saw all of them before dinner was over. We had two tables next to us that had no kids and did not seem out of place at all. The character's all stopped by their tables as well and took pictures...no big deal...

The food was good, not great but the kids loved it.... So if you are looking for a great meal I would skip it but if it's the character's you want, I thought it was great!

We love the CP breakfast. It probably has the best food of any of the Crystal Palace meals (but then again, it's hard to screw up breakfast.) Nikkie's favorite is Pooh, so we always do a meal here.

LTT has decent food, but the character interaction is great, probably the best of any character meal we've been to.

Of all the character meals we've done, these are our two favorites. :)

As far as not having kids... no problem! We don't have kids either. We do a few character meals each trip because they're very "Disney" and it's something you can't do anywhere else. If you want to really get into it, the characters will, too. If you don't, they can usually tell and will stop by for just a short time. It's been my experience that the characters are really good at telling who "gets into it" and who doesn't, and adjusts accordingly. Personally, I would do like we do and go all out-- you'll usually get some great memories and photos that way. Also, the autograph books aren't just for the kids-- they make a great souvenir.

DH and I are 2 adults with no kids who go to character meals. We did CP for breakfast on our last trip and it was fantastic. The food was really excellent. They have great options with lots of variety and it's all good. The characters are really fun and the restaurant is really pretty as well. We've done LTT for dinner during the MNSSHP and we really enjoyed it too. Lots of people say it tastes like frozen meals, but we don't think so. We thought it was really good, home-cooked style food. It's all you can eat, but brought to the table "family style" - mac and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, ham, turkey, dressing, flank steak, salad, rolls, cherry cobbler and ice cream. It was all really good and we're going back this year for the MNSSHP too. I think both are good choices.
