Lowes Home Improvement: Already stocking Christmas Items

Our local Lowes already has their Christmas Section set-up

Our Target was putting out the Christmas lights.......

Joann has had theirs up for a few weeks, Kohl's even has their Christmas trees and decoration section up.

They're slow... our Hobby Lobby's have had full on Christmas since early August.

I understand why the craft stores put stuff out early - so crafters can get started on their projects. However, the other stores can wait!!!!

I think that stores putting out Christmas stuff before Halloween has been the norm for a few years.
Check out the family board, some people are already done shopping

I was in Big Lots yesterday, huge display of Christmas Lights set up.

To be honest, I think it's too early for the Halloween displays to be up. No wonder all the Halloween candy tastes stale on Halloween!

I usually start thinking about Christmas shopping after Thanksgiving. I usually do all my Christmas shopping the second week of December. Last year was great because the stores were in panic mode by then, and started cutting prices. Although I swear a lot of those 25% off items were still priced higher than they were in September and October.

Yep - Costco has had Xmas stuff out since August too including trees!!

Yup! Costco had xmas stuff in August. I am no where near thinking about that, I have to many other things to pay for.

We passed a hardware store this weekend that had a full display of lighted trees outside. It was especially weird because the sign above it was advertising "Halloween Headquarters!"

I was in BJs on Friday and they had two full aisles of Christmas stuff out already.
