Lower sodium at restaurants.....

I am wondering if it is necessary to request this ahead? My stepdad is joining us on a trip to the World and due to heart issues should be eating lower sodium food. Is it possible--even at places like O'hana--to ask once we sit down? Thanks!

Definitely let Disney know ahead of time, have it noted on your ADR's. 'Ohana is actually very accommodating when it comes to special diets.
