We are planning a trip for Dec 3-7 and according to all information we are seeing this is one of the lowest times to attend WDW, however we cannot get many meals we want. ANY SUGGESTIONS as to why the parks are going to be full??:confused3 :confused3

We called Dining tonight to add one more to our party for the Candlelight Processional and we were told they could be added to our dinner reservation, but there are NO tickets to ANY CP the time we are there?????:confused3

Dining reservations being full do NOT equal parks being full..
And the CP dinner package can only have so many people, as the place it's held is only so big..

Thanks for response. All of the DVC resorts are full and we are having to go outside and do 2 rooms at Carribean Beach. Just didn't expect things to be full, since we were there 2 years ago at this same time and ADR were easy to come by.

I have also noticed over the years that Disney's "slow" season isn't very slow anymore either.

Well i think it will be busier then previous years. The resorts are full the 2nd week of Dec and we are going Dec 5th, and tried to add days but there was none available....AHHHHGG Hopefully it doesn;t reflect the parks, but i assume the first 2 weeks are not as slow as they were in the past.

Can't speak for this year but we went around that time last year. I wouldn't say it was SLOW & I think the parks are pretty full. Personally, I like that time of year - we've been very lucky with the weather. I did notice that we could hardly get into reataurants either-all our times were late. I kept calling & made some time changes. I know that we had res. at Ft.W at 6:30 I wanted them earlier & was told they are all booked. We ended up arriving at 4pm & they let us get in. And the place had at least 5 empty tables!!! I was furious. I called so many times prior to our trip & was told they couldn't get us in early :headache:
I do know that sometimes people make the res. & decide to either go elsewhere or make res. for a different place-& never cancel the first one. That leaves the restaurant expecting people that never show.
We did make a change in our dinner plans & cancelled the original-that way if someone else wanted one they could get in. I would keep calling b/c sometimes places do become available for the time/place you may be interested in.

I've been at this time and agree that it wasnt all that slow.

I wonder when Disney's REAL slow season is? i bet the moment the word hits the street it wont be slow any more!
