Loving HHI!

We are seriously loving our stay at HHI! We honestly were nervous about booking it not sure how we'd like it. But now we are saying we may need more points to be able to come back easily. We are in a 2 bedroom (first time in a room larger than a studio) and it is HUGE. I can't believe how much space we have which is SO nice with the kids. We may be forever ruined for smaller rooms in the future.
We asked for upper floor near pool and got both requests. Pool is a little loud in the master but really only bad during their "pool trivia" at 3:00. Kids room you can't really hear it. Our room was ready early at 1:30 when we arrived.
We love the rental bikes and the nice bike trails everywhere. It was SO nice to just ride our bikes to the grocery store today.
Did the camp fire tonight which we never find time for at Disney World. Do the other resorts have such LOUD songs as part of them? My son hates loud noises so he was sadly not a fan. Smores were nice.
Only real complaint is the parking. Wow are the parking spots narrow!! I'm not sure how some of those SUV's passengers even get out of their vehicle. Trying to get a kid in a car seat is near impossible.
Arrival day the winds were BRUTAL blowing sand in our eyes terribly. Hoping the wind is calmer tomorrow for a good day at the beach. Either way we'll find something to enjoy. I definitely think we will be back!

We first went there on our OKW points and loved it too so we added on HHI points. The rooms are so spacious. But I too hate those narrow parking spots and in the summer all those spaces get taken up so it's kind of a madhouse with parking. We once had a 2BR by the pool (balcony overlooked water slide) and DH had to work some while we were there so the noisy pool stuff bothered him. Other times we've been in or near the main building and it's more quiet up there. Glad you enjoyed!

What a BEAUTIFUL resort! Funny, DH and I was talking last evening about how much we
enjoyed HH last May with our two older sons. We also had a 2BR overlooking the marsh, so peaceful! Loved having my morning coffee on the deck seeing the boats going out in the morning. ENJOY!
