Loving Atkins -- Saying Hello!

Hi there, everyone! I've been lurking for a while now, and was partly inspired to start Atkins based on the happy stories I read here!

I've been doing Atkins for about 5 weeks now, and have lost 13 pounds to date. I've been plateauing for the last week, but I'm holding out hope for a renewed love affair with my scale in the next few days.

I'm just so excited -- I've never deliberately lost weight before, and now I feel in control of my eating, and I can feel my confidence slipping back in! My pants have been doing this enchanting 'swishing' past my hips as I walk, which is definitely a new experience!

I follow the Atkins way of eating, too, and I love it.

Be sure and measure yourself. Sometimes when you aren't losing pounds you are losing inches--which would account for those "swishy" pants of yours.
