lovely school concert tonight

younger dd's school had its winter concert tonight. the music teacher did a very clever thing. she had the kids sing a song about "holiday lights". the song mentions 4 colors -- green, red, gold and white. she asked each kid to bring in a flashlight. she divided the kids into four groups. she put red cellophane on one group of flashlights, green on another, yellow on the third, and left the last group plain. during the song they turned out the lights and created effects with the flashlights.
