Just had an experience today which warmed my heart. I do voluntary work for a charity which helps women in crisis pregnancies and who need support during the pregnancy and whilst the child/children are growing up. One of the things we often get asked for are clothes and baby equipment. Anyway I noticed on e-bay there was a lovely pramette/pushchair thingy (Mama's and Papa's) for local pick-up in my area. It should sell for £250 but as it was second-hand I got it for under £40. I was supposed to pick it up and I contacted the seller mentioning I wanted to pick it up asap to drop off as it was for a charity. Twenty minutes later the doorbell rang and there was a lovely young couple there with the pram saving me a journey. Not only that but the girl gave me a bag full of little girls clothes in the age that was just what the charity was running low on!
I was working at the charity today and had a young girl in who was really struggling to look after her three kids on very little money and she was clearly very depressed and embarassed at having to ask for clothes for them. It feels so good to know that we have a bag of clothes in her daughter's age and a lovely pram for a new baby! Nice to know there are some lovely kind-hearted people about
