Just got back from our trip, and one of the best parts was the M&F breakfast. We had 7:10 reservations, on Tues. We didn't have MM tickets, so this was the best way to eat early and still get into the park at official opening. It was so fast and convenient! There is a seperate turnstile line for character dining, so we walked right in after they confirmed our ressies. Walked to Plaza Inn and were the second group seated. There was a ton of characters there! They immediately came to our table one by one. We got tons of photos and autographs, before even getting our food. They started some dance music and the kids danced with them for a few minutes before getting our breakfast. The food was delicious!!!! All you can eat, every sort of breakfast food you can imagine. We sat down to eat and the characters still mingled around our table for a while. We saw Minnie, Pooh, Eeoyore, Tigger, Captain Hook, Fairy Godmother, Max, Rafiki, Chip and Dale. I might even be missing one. We had tons of character interaction, didn't feel rushed, and still made it out of the restaurant by 8. We will def be doing this again on our next trip.

That's great! And you inadvertently addressed a point another DIS-er made recently about how the "Pooh characters" were not appearing at Minnie & Friends anymore. I knew this was not the case - I guess they just were not there on the day that particular DIS-er ate there. But still, good to know you just saw them on the scene within the last few days!!

Please post some of your wonderful character meal photos from M&F on our character meal photo thread:

We love Minnie and Friends too! We always get the earlist PS that we can as well and it seems like we get to see SO many characters. That one is totally worth it and the food is really good.

Those are the characters we saw too (minus Pooh, I think?) and we loved it. We had such a great time and the food was really good. We are definitely going to eat there again!

i agree! we loved the minnie and friends breakfast. we had great character interaction, too! i totally recommend it checking it out!

M&F's is our favorite in park character breakfast!! We just love it!!! I'm glad you had fun there too!

I just this morning called for priority seating at Minnie & Friends for one morning on our trip in September, so it's good to see another positive review. My daughter loves all the Pooh characters, and we'll be there right when they open according to the guy on the phone(9:40 on a weekday in mid-september), so hopefully we'll have the same kind of character interactions you had. :cool1:

Thank you Mammaofthree, I had been wondering if it was worth doing minnie and friends with the contrasting reviews, but I think Minnie & Friends sounds perfect for us and now I know 1st seating on an MM day.

I tried to get M&F for a 7am or 710 for the 3rd week in August and was told that the breakfast did not start until 8AM. It is still summer hours so I do not really understand.

Not sure what day of the week you tried to make the ressies for, but AFAIK they only have the 7:00 ressies for the MM days. I didn't know this when I made the reservations, it was just a coincidence that I made them for a Tues. I called back a few days later to try to change them to Monday, and they said the earliest they had available was 8. I was assuming the 7:00 hour ones were just already taken, but after reading on here about the early ones only being on MM days, it made sense. HTH!

I am so glad to hear that Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger are still at this breakfast. It ws definitely my favorite and we plan on going back on our next trip.

You are correct, I had totally forgotten about this. I do not want to spend my MM time eating breakfast. We decided to do GK at 0700.

I don't blame you. We never do more than two days, and stay offsite, so our tickets didn't include MM. So for US, this was perfect. We got in early, ate, and didn't have to waste time in line for the official opening- walked right out of the restaurant and into Fantasyland.
