Loved the Boardwalk

CM's were wonderful, loved the decor, theming and room. Had a first floor room, very quiet courtyard, didn't hear a sound for 6 days except one night at 2:15am. Family coming in and yelling at each other -- are people insane!! They stopped quickly though, or they would have seen the wrath of me in my t-shirt and undies! The pool was so-so. Didn't use it, but know the kids would miss storm-along-bay if it was warm out. I would definitely stay here again if not at a swimming time of year. Didn't explore the resort too much, but liked being on boardwalk, close to restaurants and stores. We received all our requests except for a higher up view, which was no big deal since we were out of room all day. ONE complaint, daybed was very small! Luckily youngest DD10 fit on it, my teens defintely would have had no place to sleep. If we stayed here next year I would have to pack an aerobed. I could have sworn the BC daybed was full sized twin and I know the Contemporary daybed was larger.

Wow...I always presumed all the daybeds were approximately the same size?!? Thanks for the nice post, and info regarding the bed. Glad you had a wonderful time, and did not have to confront the "screamers" (Yes...some people ARE insane!) in your T-shirt and undies!

Thanks for posting. You mentioned SAB, do you usually stay at YC or BC?

We have stayed twice at BWI with our kids and they have loved the Luna Pool. It was perfect for them the first time because they were young and it was easy for us to watch them there. Last trip (last Feb) they still enjoyed it but we took a closer look around SAB and the kids asked if we could stay "over there" next time. Probably once they swim there they won't want to come back to BWI. We are thinking YC, hope we won't be disappointed coming from BWI.
