loved our PBH stay! w/pics

Hi all, Got back on Tuesday from our trip...I will try and do trip report but for now just a few notes and some pics.....

We LOVED PBH!! We had a ground floor room in the west wing which was great for the boat ride and for the pools. We really enjoyed the pool area and spent one whole day lounging , sunning and drinking, The pool service for drinks food etc was great. There when you needed them but not annoying. Because we enjoyed the hotel so much we didn't spend as much time as we should have at parks

I want to thank everyone for all their help on this board with choosing this hotel. We stayed at HRH before and did enjoy it but prefered PBH.

loved your pictures, but i was wondering if you received a map of the hotel? We are returning back this spring with one of our daughters and we vacationed there several years ago with another daughter ( a right of passage when they graduate jr high) and i have to admit, i missed most of the hotel, it was so big and cut up we only found one pool, so i was surprised to hear there was more than one pool! ANy help would be great... getting the lay of the land always helps!

Funny we had just come from Saratoga Springs so we found the hotel easy to get around

.....if you look at it you can see the 3 pools. (2 at top of map one very bottom.The large main pool and the other quiet pool were actually really close to each other.. you left the main pool by were the towels were handed out and then make a slight left and it is straight ahead...there are signs but it is secluded. We stayed in the west wing and found everything very convenient..close to pools and boat and bars, restaurants...I can't wait to go back!

I am taking my dad to universal and deciding between HRH and PBH. I have stayed at HRH twice never at PBH, he has never stayed at any of the 3 universal hotels. What would you suggest? PBH looks really expansive!

I have stayed once at each hotel...I am a youngish 50 yr old and loved both hotels but did find the PBH more enjoyable...I didn't find it hard to get around but is definately bigger than HH. I missed the HH underwatewr music otherwise enjoyed the PBH more. I found less kids at PBH and liked the pool areaat both...YMMV....good luck deciding!
