Loved Ohana's!!!!

Just want to thank all of my fellow posters for all of the good reviews for Ohana's. You convinced us to try it for the first time during our trip a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely loved it!!! We made reservations a few months back, and were seated within 10-15 minutes. We seemed to be in the middle of the dining room..all of the action/entertainment happened right in front of us. The food was delicious...loved the sticky wings! The salad was to die for, and the unlimited skewers of meat and shrimp were very fulfilling-not to mention the Lapu Lapu . The dessert was so yummy...my ds thought the whole plate (served family style) was just for him. This will definitely be a 'must-do' for our next trips to WDW.

I really loved 'Ohana as well when we went, which I was surprised about given that I'm so picky. DH wasn't that impressed, though. I think the meat was a bit underdone for him.

Hopefully noone gets the server we had a couple of days ago - I haven't had such terrible service at any restaurant since the mid-90's. I'd been looking forward to the meal since we made the reservation 6 weeks ago (I've not been in a few years and enjoyed it on every other visit) and it really was a bad dining experience that we paid nearly $75 for. I was upset enough to talk to the manager, who told me I could vote with my tip if I didn't like the service. I said we had Tables in Wonderland and the tip was included. He said he'd "take care of it", I still have no idea what that means, but the tip was never changed.

I love the food, but have no plan to go back anytime soon to 'Ohana.

Happy to hear you enjoyed it, we went for the first time in May and we really loved it DH has already told me to make sure and make a ressie when we go back my DD5 had a blast we were seated a couple of tables from the window got a wonderful view of Wishes that was the highlight of our night

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. We are going to try it in a few weeks. The magic kingdom has evening emh the night of our ressie. So, we are really looking forward to o'hana then mk for the rest of the night.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's a must for us on every visit. We will be going in Dec. We usually ask for a second desert, and they are happy to do so. In fact, on several occasions we were asked if we wanted a second desert.

We used to love Ohana but it fell out of favor with us after several less-than-wonderful experiences. I am pleased to see so many good comments, perhaps they've turned the corner.

I am going for my first time also. Was wondering what cat. you were in. I went ahead and got us cat. 1 thinking it was a good bit better...so what do you think? Worth the money?
