Lovebugs in mid-August

Hello all,

We have a planned trip aug 17-24, and I am concerned about love bugs during that time..for you Disney vets, when does love bug season typically run in the fall? I know its happening now (May 2019) but worry about our trip, mainly for my 7 year old that doesn't like bugs. Thanks so much guys.

They typically do their 2nd flight in later August and September. It's been unseasonable warm which made them appear in early May this year.

We go mid to late August every year. I had to google an image because I’ve never seen one.
That being said, I’ve heard they’re bad this year, so you never know.

I don't remember the exact days because it was back in 2003 but it was definitely the last week of August. We probably flew back Labor Day weekend.
