Have seen it the last few days. Two guys are digging through post-Christmas trash, and one guy says, "What are you looking for?" The other guy says, "The hairbrush for the Rapunzel Barbie Doll". Cracks me up every time I see it!

This brings back sooooo many memories! Spent one whole day digging through piles of wrapping paper to find the "shoes" for Strawberry Shortcake. (Actually, think it was for Blueberry whatever cousin. Those little dolls were about 2 " high) Also loved the Christmas Eve where we had to place the miniscule decals on the Star Wars toys and got to bed just as the kids were waking up! We're going back a few decades here! Then, there was the Christmas when I was about 10, and Santa left me a new red bike....right next to a wrench, screwdriver, and assorted hardware.

Love it!!

I love that commercial too! That is why the Christmas trash stays in the house for at least 2 days. One time digging through the garbage can for stupid shoes for some such Princess Barbie is enough for me. I'm a single Mom so I can't even pawn it off on someone else!

How about all those parts you have left over after putting a bike together? That's the real reason I'm so fanatical about helmets! I'm afraid the darn thing will fall apart mid ride!!

I LOVE IT! Everyone thought I was nuts on Christmas morning when I began shaking out the wrapping paper. I tried describing the commercial, but no one got it. I can't even remember what the advertisement is for!

I love that one too. Oh how many times we have dug through trash after Christmas!

I'm 45 and I remember my daddy going through the trash looking for Barbie shoes or brush!

I saw that one a couple times, it is pretty funny!

It's for Walmart's after Christmas sale.

That is pretty funny. DD couldn't figure out how to work the "pooping" baby doll she had to have. Had to look through the garbage for instructions!

had to do that this year for a lego star wars light sabre.

we put all wrappings and trash in a big trash bag and don't recycle the paper till everyone makes sure they have their stuff!;)

I haven't seen the commercial, but I heard about it. I hope I can still catch it.

The first Christmas DH and I were married, we spent it with his family...including 5 little nieces/nephews and tons of toys. After cleaning up, I realized I didn't have my wedding band on. We had EVERYONE going through bags of garbage and wrapping paper (we DID find parts to toys we had given to the kids), but we didn't find it. I was sick over it for the rest of the day. Shortly before heading home, I found it in my pants pocket.

My dad and I died laughing when we saw this commercial, because he doesn't have to do stuff like that for me anymore :p

One year we threw out trash. A day later or so we looked ALL OVER for the Christmas cards that contained money in them. One of which, contained about $100 for my parents
We never found them.
