I have a terrible love/hate relationship with the town I live in. LOL
I LOVE that I can go to the bank and the teller says "no need to show me your ID, I know who you are". (sometimes the teller is a neighbor or a friend)
I HATE that people at the bank who "know who I am" also know allllllll about my finances. LOL
I LOVE going to a restaurant and depending on the day, the waitstaff will know what we're eating and start to prepare it before we even sit down.
I HATE personally knowing all the waitstaff so they all tend to want to stand there and visit with us, even though we might just rather zone out or talk to each other.
I love the small town car repair shops, they've seen our vehicles enough to " know" them.
I HATE the small town car repair shops, they get slightly peeved when we use our own judgement and buy the cars that WE want, not the ones THEY would like us to have. LOL (I think it has something to do with ease of repair)
So what do you love/hate about your town?
